In the United States requires a license. The General Mobile Radio in
Radio Service (GMRS).
In Canada, no license is at all necessary.
* * You can withou a license only if we are the floor unlicensed FRS channels 8-14 channels.

As far as I know, yes, it's the same thing with CB radios. They have channels that are used without a license. but they are limited. Just turn on the manual. usuallym give information about them.
Good luck
United States
tecnhnically yes
hardly
worse than someone with no interference or language.
If you are in the United Kingdom and walkie-talkies are not legal at all. They work on frequencies allowed to use walkie-talkie.
A quick look at a sales site in the United States, says an FCC license is required.
Probably not, ask the people who buy.
Never heard of anyone receiving a license to walkie talkie ...
If the "walkie-talkies are on amateur frequencies, you do not need a license from the FCC. For those who have FRS or GMRS or MURS frequencies, you do not need a license. (Some say you need a license for GMRS, but do not disturb the majority.)
